Boris Kraševec was born on July 7, 1982 in Novo mesto, Slovenia. He graduated in 2006 with the thesis titled "Reduction of clamping jaws wear on operation drilling of piston" at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. After finishing the undergraduate programme, he started his specialist study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and graduated in 2009 with the work titled "Quality assurance of piston machining". In 2011 he started his doctoral study at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School at the Ecotechnology programme and cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and company Ursa Slovenia, d.o.o from Novo mesto. In the last three years he published three scientific articles in the field of glass wool. He finished his doctoral study in January 2017. His engineer experience began at Danfoss Compressors d.o.o. company in Črnomelj, where from 2004 and 2006 he worked as an assistant to a process engineer, while still attending school. After graduating he worked as a production technologist in rotor production between 2006 and 2008. In 2009 he was promoted to the position of a process engineer for valve plate system and piston production of compressor. Regarding the compressor topic he prepared two graduate papers. At the beginning of year 2010, before the above-mentioned company was closed, he changed employment and started working in a glass wool production factory named Ursa Slovenija d.o.o as a production engineer in the production management department. In the company, he worked on process optimisation, data analysis, management, planning with plan implementation, application of Six Sigma, 6S and lean manufacturing tools, testing of new materials, introduction of new products, new employees and everything that affects production. He has received several prizes for innovation in last years. In year 2021 he found new challenges at Iskra PIO d.o.o. in Šentjernej, where he worked as a project coordinator. He worked with pharmaceutical customers in Slovenia and worldwide. He learned about pharmaceutical GMP requirements, the manufacturing of suction chambers and isolators, and the validation and calibration process. In year 2022 he could not resist working for Elaphe d.o.o. in Ljubljana, where he works in a simple team of highly-educated employees who contribute to the rapid growth of the company. In the last few years, a lot of work has been done in the field of research and development. As an experienced production and quality engineer, he has joined the Quality Assurance department where he works as a senior engineer. His goal is to satisfy customers worldwide with quality in wheel electric motors, to help the company by production increase and be a member of the story in wheel electric motors.
