After finishing elementary school in Metlika, he continued his education at the Mechanical Engineering Technician's School Center Novo mesto. In 2001 he enrolled in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, majoring in Machine Design and Maintenance. He graduated in April 2006 with the title "Reducing the Wear of Clamping Jaws on Piston Drilling". Mentoring was conducted under the guidance of prof. dr. John Digger. In 2008 he enrolled in a specialist study program at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, majoring in production management, and in 2010 successfully defended his specialist thesis entitled "Assuring the quality of piston machining". Mentoring was conducted under the guidance of prof. dr. Soković Mirkota. In 2011, he began his doctoral studies at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School in the program of Ecotechnology, in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana and the company Ursa Slovenia, Ph.D. from Novo mesto. During his studies he published three scientific articles in the field of glass wool. He completed his doctoral studies in January 2017 under the direction of prof. dr. Wide Braneta. His experience began at Danfoss Compressors d.o.o. from Črnomelj, where he worked as a process engineer assistant from 2004 to 2006, while at the same time fulfilling his study obligations. After graduation, he took a full-time job and from 2006 to 2008 worked as a production technologist in the rotor machining department. In 2009, he was appointed to the position of Process Engineer for valve plate machining and piston machining processes. He prepared two diploma works on the subject of compressor. At the beginning of 2010, before the aforementioned company closed, he changed jobs and started working at the glass wool factory Ursa Slovenija d.o.o as a production engineer in the production management department. The company is engaged in process optimization, data analysis, management, planning with plan realization, use of six sigma, 6S tools and lean manufacturing, testing new materials, introducing new products and dealing with everything that tangents to production. In 2018, he received two Innovation Awards from the company.
