Doc. dr. Martin Žnidaršič is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Knowledge Technologies at the Jožef Stefan Institute. His main research interests are in data mining and decision support with a focus on probabilistic modelling, evaluation modelling, text analytics including sentiment analysis. Applications of his work are conducted mostly in domains of ecology and finance.
In scope of this course the students are introduced to different methods of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and taught to autonomously use machine learning methods to analyze data and build predictive models.
