The University of Novo mesto has, for the purpose of implementing study programmes, established new university faculties pursuant to Article 25 of the Decree on the Establishment of the University of Novo mesto (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 12/26) and the Statutes of the University of Novo mesto (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 1219/26). In place of the former faculty named the Faculty of Industrial Engineering Novo mesto, the University of Novo mesto, Faculty of Industrial Engineering has been established. The founder of the University of Novo mesto is the Republic of Slovenia.
